Happy Tails

Odie, Ainsley, & Evee

Hi Beverly,

Thank you so much for Odie, Ainsley, and Evee! They are so wonderful! Odie is well-behaved, loving, and smart. Ainsley is a wiggly little ball of joy who brightens up our day. And Evee is a forever puppy, googly-eyed, innocent and mischievous at the same time. We love them with all our hearts and am so grateful to have them in our lives!

Dahlia

Hi Beverly,
Thank you for our wonderful new addition. Dahlia is such a happy and loving pup! It feels like she has always been a part of our family. We are treasuring our time with her.

Thank you,
Sue

Sapphire

Dear Beverly,

We can not thank you enough for bringing Sapphire into our lives. She is more precious than we could have imagined and so worth the wait. She has become so much a part of this family and is even a little mascot for volley ball, gymnastics and now basketball practices. We are soooooo in love!

Thank you again so much,
Jennifer and family

Louisa

Hi Beverly,

Please forgive me for my delay in reporting how Louisa is doing. She is really doing well. Yesterday was a month since I got her in Danbury CT. She was 8lbs, now 12lbs, became really tall. Everybody she meets seem to fall in love with her. She is very very popular wherever she goes. She herself made a lot of friends too. Thank you so so much to save her and chose me as her mom.

Sincerely,
C

Shelby

Beverly,

It’s been two weeks since Shelby came to live with us, and she really is quite a wonderful dog. Everyone she meets is impressed with how sweet, smart, and well-behaved she is. Here is a photo of Shelby and our granddaughter, Maggie. Enjoy.

Charlie

Hello Beverly!

Picked Jason (now known as Charlie*) up at Angela’s last night. Hit so much traffic getting there, but all was great. I can’t thank you enough for arranging for Jason, aka Charlie, to stay there Saturday night.

Charlie is an amazing pup! He was so good on the car ride home and has totally acclimated to his new home. He loves to romp in his backyard and play with his new toys. He carries them from one of his bed to the other. I have a bed set up in the den and one in my office. He’s napping by my side as I type!

Thank you so much for choosing us to love and provide for Charlie for the rest of his long life. I will send you photos periodically (if you don’t mind) so you can see how he is doing.

Best wishes and thank you for all you do for these sweet critters!

Sincerely,
Joan

Fernando

Dear foster Mom,

It’s a week with my new parents and I couldn’t be happier! They love and adore me and never stop kissing me! I wanted to thank you for saving me and taking care of me until I found my forever home. Mom said she will send pictures and updates from time to time. Thank you for all you do!

Love and a million kisses,
Fernando

Brody

Beverly,

Wanted to send you some pictures with an update on Brody–he’s absolutely incredible! One picture is of him looking cute, the other is him being our “spokesdog” out at Pet-Palooza, a dog festival that took place here a couple weeks ago. Brody was showered with love and treats all day from people walking by–needless to say, he was in heaven! Thank you for bringing him into our lives–we feel so lucky to have been chosen to be his people!

Samantha

Hi Beverly,

Samantha is doing wonderfully! She is such a sweetheart, and I am completely in love with her! We are having such a good time together! She is such a delight to have around. We’ve been going for long walks on the bike/walking path near my apartment, which she loves. She’s been doing great in her crate at night (she’s only woken me up once in the night, all of the other nights she’s slept completely through!), and her house-training is going really well so far! She’s a smart girl, and she learns so quickly! I couldn’t possibly be more in love with her, she’s so friendly and sweet. She’s going to her new vet for the first time on Friday for a check-up, and we’ll be starting puppy classes soon, too! She’s already learning how to play ball, she loves when I throw it to her!

I feel so lucky to be her new mom! I really can’t thank you enough again for all of your help. She and I are having the best time together, and I am so, so happy to have her in my life! I’ll be sure to send more pictures and updates soon!

With endless gratitude,
Amy

Jackson

We can’t believe we have had Jackson 3 months already. He is such a loving and affectionate pup. He loves our Golden and our Golden loves him. Jackson is definitely my 6 year olds dog. He really is special and we love him so very much. Thank you for our baby!

Maisy

Hi Beverly and Angela!

I wanted to update you on little Maisy (aka “Blanche” from the Golden Girls puppies). 6+months old and lovin’ life! Renamed for Mzee from the wonderful “best friends” true story of an old tortoise and an abandoned baby hippo. We knew little Maisy (Mzee) would be our daughter’s best friend for life. .
Maisy has been such a wonderful addition to our family and we can’t imagine life without her! She’s acing her puppy training classes, loves kids and enjoys socializing and burning off her energy on long walks and at doggy daycare with her puppy friends. She’s well on her way to not only being a sweet family pet, but to our goal of being a wonderful reading dog at school and for hospital visits.
Here are photos of her fundraising at the mall for another wonderful rescue group we are members of and trying to pay it both forward and back. Looking a bit tired from a long day of pets and hugs!
Maisy is off to a wonderful life filled with kids, service and fun! We love her soooo much. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for all your work and dedication in saving her and all the others! We are forever grateful.

Cheers!
Colleen
